Need to get utility services to a remote site but aerial methods or trenching is notTechnician on-site using Trenchless Technology to install undergroud conduit an option?  Don't want the expense of time and materials to repair after trenching?  Com-Net Services, Inc. has the answer for you.  Our Trenchless Technology services can be used in situations where conventional excavation methods are either impractical or impossible.  Our Operators and Technicians are factory trained and field experienced to provide you with the safest, most economical solution to your problem.

Trenchless Technology is a great alternative for :

  • Stream/River and wetland crossing
  • Areas with high restoration cost (Roads, Airport Runways)
  • Varing grade terrain
  • High traffic areas
  • Wooded areas
  • Extensive Landscape areas

With Directional Boring there are no trenches, no backfilling, no street cutting, no resodding, no traffic snarls, no compacting, no water filled trenches.

By making only small catch pits at the entrance and exit of the bore, the drill head cuts its own hole, and compacts the dirt and materials leaving a pilot hole the size of the drill head.  The drill head is steered during the bore by the operator.   Another technician uses a radio detection device to track the progress of the head, and to identify changes in direction due to underground obstacles or to follow a set path.

Trenchless Technology may be used to install water, gas, and   electrical or communications conduit.  It is fast, efficient and low cost.
